The sacral chakra stands for the original lust for life and the divine creative power and is the seat of unfiltered original emotions.

This chakra is the most important emotional center and therefore most of us will eventually experience an imbalance in it.

The sacral chakra is in resonance with the ether and emotional body and processes the experiences of this level. Creativity lies in this level of consciousness.

Closely connected with the creative power is the reproductive instinct, which is also connected with the creation of something new.

Disorders in this chakra can manifest themselves through diseases of the sexual organs, but also disorders in sensual perception.

Also an over- or underfunction of the sexual drive and sexually caused feelings of guilt can give information about a blocked sacral chakra.

Problems of attachment and trust are also topics of an unbalanced sacral chakra.

Psychologically, the imbalance becomes apparent through addictions and listlessness.

A blockage of the sacral chakra often already occurs in childhood, when the original self-expression and the living out of authentic needs lead to negative feedback from the environment and painful experiences.

Common causes for a disorder in the sacral chakra would be lack of affection, suppression of emotional expression, overwhelming emotional experiences, too little or no physical closeness and exchange of tenderness up to serious traumas such as sexual abuse.

Suppression of sexuality during puberty can also later lead to a blocked sacral chakra and an inhibited or disturbed sexual life. Its disharmonic function often originates in puberty.

Shame; guilt; fear of sexuality and sensuality; fear of expressing oneself emotionally and creatively; the disorder has an interpersonal effect in the form of loneliness and isolation. Or in coquetry, but without really getting involved.
